If you want to do without a car, you can easily reach Das Walchsee by public transport. The nearest larger train station is Kufstein, which can be reached directly or with a few changes from many cities. From there, you can continue to Walchsee by public bus or a pre-booked transfer.
Overnight travel is also possible: With the ÖBB Nightjet you spend part of the journey asleep and start your vacation in Tyrol directly the next morning.
Transfer from Kufstein train station: We are happy to organize the journey from the train station directly to the resort on request. The price is € 49.00 per room and route. Please let us know your transfer request at least one day before your arrival or when making your reservation. When booking the Green Travel Rate this service is already included.
A flexible alternative is the public bus. The journey from Kufstein to Walchsee takes about 35 minutes. During the main season, you can use selected public transport in the region with the Kaiserwinkl Card free of charge.
If you want to travel particularly light, you can also use the ÖBB Luggage Service service. Your luggage will be picked up at home and delivered directly to your holiday destination.
